Well I hope you all have settled into the new year! It’s only been about a week, but it already feels like the holidays have been over for months. So before it gets too far away, I wanted to take some time and do a quick recap of 2015!
Probably the most exciting thing that happened this year was that we got a blog facelift with Snaps! I cannot tell you how excited I was to get a fancy new blog platform, and it seems like you guys like it more, too!
We also started our SnapBox in Real Life series, and I am excited to continue sharing ideas and projects from well-known bloggers across the web! The one above is one of our original posts from Sarah M. Dorsey Designs. Stay tuned for more of these in 2016.
You also helped us grow our Instagram followers so much this year! We started the year at about 500 followers, and have grown to over 6,100 so thank you so much for all of those likes and your continued support of SnapBox! You keep those double-taps coming, and we’ll plan more #snapsforfreepillows giveaways!
But, what is most exciting is how much you guys loved some of our content and DIYs. I’ve rounded up the top posts from 2015, so take some time to check back on all of them in case you missed something.
Our most popular post, by far, was our DIY State Collage. You guys went crazy for this, so maybe this year I’ll do something similar to satisfy for need for peel & stick collages.
You guys also loved our Mother’s Day DIY Roundup, which tells me that a lot of you prefer to make things for your mum instead of buying them. That just makes my heart so happy!
I’m honored to say that the post introducing me to you guys was also a top favorite! It’s great to know that you enjoy seeing the personal side of this blog in addition to news about all the sales, giveaways, and DIYs. I feel so honored!
Our DIY Off the Canvas Art was another crowd favorite, and I am so glad you guys liked that idea!
We also tried our something new this Halloween and created pillow art for your guys to download and print. We got an overwhelmingly positive response from that, that we decided that you’re going to get new art for every major holiday! So keep an eye out, because I know you’re getting some good ones for Valentine’s Day!
And finally, you guys loved my DIY Photo Banner and Giveaway to celebrate our 3rd birthday! I’ve thought of another photo banner idea that can be used for birthdays and holidays that I’ll be sharing closer to Valentine’s Day, so keep an eye out for that as well.
2015 was an amazing year, and I’m so honored to have you guys be apart of this journey with me and SnapBox! Let me know in the comments below what your favorite post was from 2015, and I’ll try to make more DIYs like it this year. Happy New Year!
